Is he really a nice guy or just a charmer?

he may be a nice guy but with his previous children it seems that he wasn't a great father to them He may be a charmer or a nice guy but when she asks him to get a job he gets really defensive. She may like him but I think she should wait a bit more or give it another go and see if he can get a job and hold on to it.
