Can a canon eos 550 store pictures without a memory card?

Most digital cameras have some built-in storage, but it can't hold many pictures at maximum resolution. When you insert a card, the camera may ask if you want to copy pictures from internal memory to the card. Otherwise you have to plug the camera without a card into a computer.
