Carfax showed rear damage?

Its a 2007 VW Eos, and the salesman said no police report was made, so that means it was simply that someone backed intot he owner (rear to rear) in a parking lot. I saw the report, but I still worry about buying a car thats had an accident. The report shows it was serviced after the accident, then again a month later and again 2 months later, then she sold it. Could "service" be something as simple as an oil change and Im reading too much into this?
