How do I remove the lens from my Canon EOS 1100D?

I'm trying to remove the lens from my Canon EOS 1100D I've read the manual, but it only shows how to put it on, I'm afraid twisting it too hard to remove it incase it breaks, any idea? is there a video or instruction out there that could show me? thanks:)
