Is mileage only not reimbursable when driving from home to office and office to home?

I have an office at my company but drive to our 100+ customers for service work with my personal vehicle. I submit mileage and I am reimbursed for it. There seems to be a gray area that I would be responsible for the first and last mileage of the day. I read and reread the IRS guidelines and believe that all mileage is reimbursable except between my main office and home, under the temporary workplace guidelines. This would include driving a shorter distance to a customer site first thing in the morning or if I was at a customer site and drove home at the end of the day, I believe all these miles are reimbursable.

Please help. Gonna really shorten this: I am confused about this new guy I met at my college. Here's the problem: we graduate in about a week, so anything serious is pretty much out of the question, I guess. He has had me meet his guy friends; talks to his friends about me (they tell me he really likes me); texts me just to say "goodnight" sometimes......yet seems to kinda leave me wondering a lot. Now, don't get me wrong, he has tried to hang out and I've been busy...but I guess just because I really, really like this one, I am more anxious than usual to hear from him. But I NEVER let that show. With such an awkward time constraint, how can I tell what he is really thinking?? I find him hard to read cuz he is a natural "charmer."

okay Im trying to figure out how to explain this with out sounding stupid but my previous relationship was abusive it lasted for about three years. I was dumb, okay so this current boyfriends I have now, we been together for 5 months and something about him kind of rubs me the wrong way. He was soo nice and such a charmer when we were friends (just like my previous bf)and just starting to date and then overtime i started noticing his temper was quick, he is kind of a hot heat but a little more calmer than my previous bf. He says sorry for these things and says things like " I don't think im the guy you need, you don't deserve this, me taking me anger out on you" I feel bad when he says this and I console him and tell him everything is okay and that I know his is capable of doing better but then he just does it all over again. My ex bf told me he would never put his hands on a female and never have but i guess I was different, my bf now says the same and im scared because I don't know what to believe! They are both so similar, sweet at times bitter for no reason at times. I also noticed other silly things like they have the same exact birthday same year and everything and both born in the same state. Ughhh idk im getting paranoid, its driving me crazy! He is just so sweet at times telling me that Im the best thing that has happened to him all year and that I make him happy. Its just hard to leave him alone.

Nikon D3100 or Canon EOS Rebel T2i?

I want to get a camera with a lot of mp and can take good pictures in low light. And one that has good AF servo. I am new at photography so I need one that is not too complicated but can take really good pictures. Also, I want one that can take pictures up close,like of a butterfly's head for example. Both can take pictures up close but I want the one that can do it the best and clearest. Also I want one that can zoom in really well. Please DON'T give me other camera ideas because these too fit in my budget and look really good, I just can't decide which one. Thanks!!!

There are some really bad cards here, some banned ones (tribe infecting virus, Heavy Storm), and overall, no real theme to the deck. You should buy a theme deck (Marik Structure deck is a good place to start) and stick with that.

Difficulty swallowing saliva?

i was looking at other questions like this and i dont know if im experienceing the same exact problem and none of the answers given seemed like it could help me. ive had difficulty swallowing saliva for as long as i can remember it didnt stay for a couple days and go it could happen alot one day and not the other i noticed people saying they have alot of mucus in their throat i do have this problem but that doesnt have to do with my swallowing because i already can't swallow when i do get alot of mucus its thick, uncomfortable and right at the back. i have no difficulting drinking or eating just not spit. ive also read about someone who drinks water to help and an answer saying thats good but if that persons like me you end im drinking so much your stomach hurts and you always gotta urinate ive read causes like stress, (i dont really think im stress) certain meds (im not taking any meds just ocassionally a pain reliever or allergy relief) and just thinking about it to much (i dont start thinking about it untill about the second unsuccesful swallow) i have no pain in my chest or esophogus but my throat muscles get sore after a while of unsuccessful swallowing. it doesnt feel like theres a blockage or pain in the neck section i just cant seem to force it down. i dont know if the other people haveing a problem like this cant do it at all i can do it i just have to try several times. so if you think your haveing the same problem or think you you can give me an answer i havent seen please respond thank you sorry i read a few more questions before submitting this so i got more details i dont have excess salvia if anything my mouth will be dry but not my throat and i have this problem sometimes even when my mouth is dry also i read someones saying they felt that that their throat would clamp shut i feel the throat muscles contracting but not clamped shut. also this doesnt hinder my breathing at all i havent reread this so i dont know if im repeating myself but ive had no surgery or been on any meds in years (well i forgot to say i occasionally have to use a rescue inhaler for asthma) im just trying to get a lot of details but it seems like im rambling so basically im asking 1. If anys experienceing the same problem? 2. Anyone can give me a cause or simple treatment? well personally i would go with an SLR camera, but i have a lot of photography experience. if you are really a beginner and used to like point and shoots cameras, you might wanna consider the SX30 IS. my cousin has it. very close to SLR just without interchangeable lenses. and maybe a little less features, but its a bridge camera so its really close :)

Html form coding... the information in the form needs to be sent to an e-mail.?

i took html class a few semesters ago and learned about forms but never learned all the different ways to send the form information. all we learned how to do was when hitting the submit button is a webpage popping up. i enjoy webmaking and my friend wants me to whip up a web page for his upcoming business. he just wants something very simple, not too fancy. its for his scrap metal business. i was thinking i could have a form on the webpage where people and companies can request him to pick up scrap metal. and then the info would be sent to his e-mail. i think thats much better than making them copy and paste an e-mail. do i need a special server for this? or can i do it with code? please help. thanks

Canon EOS 550D or Nikon D5100?

I recommend you to get the 550D because the D5100 may not be available in your country that soon. Plus, it's a little bit cheaper. D5100 has 4 vs 3.7fps, 2 more AF points and its ISO goes to 25600, while 550D goes to 12800 max.The canon has the better HD system, and the better AF system then the nikon.

Help With Extremely Dry Lips?

Hi. I work at a dermatology office. We do get a lot of patients that come in with the same complaint as you. It is a dermatitis of the lips. My son actually has suffered from this too. The main treatment is actually to apply a low dosage of prescription steroid cream and for moisturization to the lips they recommend Aquaphor Healing OIntment - on the same order as Vaseline, but it seems to promote healing much better. Your lips may actually be having an allergic or irritant reaction to some of the products you are using. A dermatologist can give you a steroid if you would like to try that, or else, I would suggest eliminating all products from your lips, no makeup products either, and try just Aquaphor exclusively and see how that works for you. Also, try to wash with something like Cetaphil wash or Dove unscented for sensitive skin. But chapsticks and other products usually do not help this condition, as it is a dermatitis. Hope this helps!

Seems like a great start. I wouldn't open with such a deep statement though. Maybe try starting with a little more action..."in media res"...and then later introducing the background and bringing up some heavier points.

In addition to learning to use your light meter, you may want to look at your parameter settings. Overexposure will wash out some color, but also which parameters do you have the camera set for? Look in the manual under parameters and reset yours to give you more punch.

The Hasselblad H4D-200 would probably be the best dSLR today and it will be a far much better than the Canon 60D but will be much more expensive too. All dSLRs are difficult to use if you don't know the basic principles of photography. All dSLRs are basically the same. If you know how to use one, you can use them all.

Think a clean cut Charlie Day and a taller Tom Cruise. I like Diesel jeans a pair of chucks and a T shirt, but own a few tailored italian suits and like to dress up for an occasion. Dear moms, please help!!?

Babys have too short of an attention span to be spoiled before 1 yrs old trust me. He will forget things in an instant after they happen. Get his ears checked for an infection right away, they hit with no symptoms but crankiness sometimes. He's certainly crying for a reason..once the doctor rules that out you can contribute it to something else. But its all about the process of elimination. Something is definately not right with him you need to find out what. If his ears are clear it could definately be teething at his age, which religious use of tylenol and teethers will help. But I guarantee its a sneaky ear infection...that's the usual culprit. Easily cured by a quick office visit and some antiobiotics he will be feeling better in 2-3 days. They are very painful so I would get him checked asap.

Which lens should I buy?

Okay so last year I got a Canon EOS 500D. I've been interested in and practising photography for 4 years so this was my first DSLR. I need some advice on buying a lens. The camera came with a Canon 18-55mm IS lens. I love it and all but now I'm looking to buy a telephoto/zoom lens. I had my eye on the Canon 70-300mm with a stabilizer but I'm not sure if I should get this as it's quite expensive. Another one I was looking at prior to that was the Canon 55-250mm IS. The build for that isn't as good but I've heard it's a great lens for what you're paying and a good choice to go along with the 18-55mm kit. But the 70-300mm has a metal build and zooms in further so that's an option too, even if it is more expensive. Do you think I should just buy the 55-250mm for now? I want a universal everyday zoom lens. If there's anymore lenses you'd like to suggest please do, I need advice because I don't wanna waste money on a lens that might not be fit for the purpose :-) I appreciate the help, thanks in advance!

What's better, Canon EOS 60d or 7d?

Study the specs then refer your questions to those who actually own either camera. Dpreview.com is a good forum for advice. Here you're subjected to opinions by SOME people who know no more than you do and are generally biased toward one brand or another. I've never bothered reading the specs of the 60D and its articulated screen. On a bright day it won't matter what screen you've got you'll be flat out seeing it anyway. I have one on my Sony HD Video camera and I can't see a thing after 10am on its screen. Same thing with my Canon DSLRs. I am very familiar with the 7D having studied all the reviews and user opinions. I however decided to order the 1DMiv instead to go with my T1i and 5DM2. That doesn't mean its not a great semi pro camera. It is, I just preferred its big brother. You haven't mentioned how far you want to go with your photography, or what sort of photography you prefer and how much you can see yourself investing in this expensive pastime. The 7D has a very good focusing system and can produce 8 frames per second which makes it a great camera for sports and action shorts. Its bursting at the seams with capabilities but to take advantage of that you do need good glass, preferably the L lenses. Another option is to hold off for a while and see if the full frame 5DM3 arrives soon. A lot of people seem to think it will. Study the reviews, ask question of those who have the equipment you're interested in, and always buy the best you can afford!

Unable to qualify to refinance coborrower wants out?

I purchased a home and my mom cosigned as what I'd believed to be a non occupying co-borrower at the time which I came to find out she was actually a joint tenant on the mortgage. She moved in with me shortly after I bought it due to my parents divorcing and now because I have a family she has moved out. She told me I had a week to get the loan out of her name but I'm finding this impossible because I couldn't qualify for the loan on my own in the first place, which is why I asked her to cosign with me. It is a FHA loan and I know they have exceptions for her to purchase her own home without me having to refinance my home and get the mortgage out of her name. I have always made the payments and have lived in the house for almost 2 years never having one late payment. When I spoke to a loan officer she told me I can submit documentation showing I've been making the payments, and an affidavit saying I'm responsible for the payments and that would satisfy their requirements. Anyone been successful at doing this? My mom had her name removed from the deed (divorce trying to get as much as she could) but the mortgage was never refinanced, now she is angry with me about her name being on the mortgage. Is there any way I can go without having to refinance. I can't come up with money for closing costs in such short time.

Okay, so my cousin and i are in the process of getting a restraining order on this one girl. She responded by answering the orders for the restraining order, and she submitted evidence.Because of this, when we showed up on our court date, the judge already made it seem like she was going to win. With all 3 cameras you have listed you can get amazing photos. You really should learn what a DSLR can do and also super zoom (bridge cameras). As was said you have 2 DSLRS and one bridge camera on your list. Don't compare a super zoom with DSLRS.

Whats Better? Canon EOS 600d or 60d?

60D is still superior to the 600D. Video wise, they're pretty much the same but 60D has a pentaprism viewfinder which means you get a brighter picture when looking through it. 60D has 9 cross type focus points vs 1 on the 600D and the 60D has a higher burst rate than the 600D. For video alone, 600D should be fine but for photographs, 60D is still supreme.

Canon DSLR and Camcorders?

So I've been wanting to get a camera for a while now. The feature I am most interested in is video recording. Initially, I had opted for the Canon EOS 60D because it had HD video recording, but I ended up getting a Canon VIXIA HF M41. So far I like the camcorder, but I was wondering if my choice was right. How can I get get a demo together?

I am an aspiring songwriter- I create lyrics and melody, but I don't play an instrument and I suck at making beats to go along with my songs. There's a girl in my class and im very worried?

i am a teacher at a secondary school (ages 13-17) and there is a girl in one of my classes called Natasha, she is 15. She has a 3 brothers, Liam (19) Josh (16) and Kenzie (5). Liam used to attend are school and well Josh is but is never in. Nearly two years ago the childrens mother passed away from cancer and the father who is a greek man who was very distant in the childrens life was left to look after them. Since their mother passed away their father has not been coping very well. he has been drinking excesively and on drugs. Liam then got a girl pregnant and had a baby boy and he moved out of the house because of it being so unbearable and brought Josh and Kenzie and his little boy with him. Unfortunatly the daughter Natasha remained at her fathers house, and has gone down a very bad road of drinking and drug use. Joshua their other brother who is 16 is probably in the most trouble, as he is living with the brother there are not many rules so he is able to run free and do as he likes. He has not being attending school as he has been kicked out for appauling behaviour and at the moment is on cerfew with the police and doing community service. however one of my main problems is Natasha, i was walking home with my husband at roughly 2am and i saw her passed out drunk and in lot of trouble. 1. i would like to know why she was out so late, 2. i am very concerned about why she was drinking heavily, and 3. the people she was with were people i would wish no ones daughter to be with. i am very concerned about the children and how much there life has gone down hill because i remember Liam and Josh and Natasha laughing and being very popular children, they were kind and could tell right from wrong and each was extrodinary goodlooking and beautiful. How do you shoot RAW files with a Canon EOS 7D?

It sounds as if you set your camera to jpeg plus raw and the only thing you are reading is the jpeg. Perhaps you did not use the software that came with your camera that reads the raw data. Perhaps you need to download that from Adobe.

CANON 60D or CANON 600D?

I would say no on the Nikon. Not that they're bad, but Canon is always top of the line when it comes to anything with photography. The 60D is the better camera, but the T3i is also awesome. You really can't go wrong either way. Kind of depends if you're more of a beginner user or an advanced user. If you're a beginner go with the T3i because the options will probably be easier for you to figure out.

For those of you who have bought a house?

First off I'm not the type of person who falls in love with a home before he buys it. To me it's not smart as this is the biggest purchase of your life. Kind of how they say it's not smart to go to the grocery store when you're hungry-you'll spend more because you see more things that look good while you're hungry. That said, I've never been in a hugely contested bidding war. If I was I'd probably say 'screw it-let the vulchers have it since there are tons of other places for sale' and I want a bargain that just happens to have the things I want in it. There are lots of those IMO and with my attitude I'll still get all that I want but not spend through the nose. I do have a taste for homes that are in fairly high demand so I've found it's best to get my realtor to send me the MLSs as soon as places hit the market. It's the quickest way to learn what's new. If you're fast enough you'll beat the rush. I make a decent offer, require the seller answer quickly (usually withing 36-48 hours or I'll pull the offer) and that pressures the seller to either agree to sell it to me or tells me they still want to play the field and aren't really serious about someone taking the place off their hands immediately-which to some sellers is a huge bonus just to get the whole deal over with. Everyone has their own strategy. Some strategies work better than others depending on the situation. I know you may love the house you're bidding on but don't lose sight of the fact that there are many more options on the market for you. You don't have to chase your desires with extra money.

I've been there, only my guy I knew he was always on his phone cause it kept him from falling asleep because he got so little of it.. so give it time if he wants you he has your number don't call or text him again unless he does it first.

Good background for a charcoal drawing?

I'm applying for a fine arts scholarship to a local prep school for my freshman year; earning the scholarship money will be the only way my family can afford it. Along with a portrait and a work in any medium, we also have to submit a still life with three objects. Is President Obama disconnected from the America that he's supposed to Govern?

He submitted a joke of a budget a few months ago, and then didn't even try to come back and defend it except a couple of very vague speeches in which he mumbled something about raising taxes. Obama should be focused 100% on our economic crisis, and should be on TV outlining his plan (which it is clear that he doesn't even have). Instead, he waits for the GOP to actually come up with a plan, then only comes on TV to demagogue it to death with lies and half truths while never offering an alternative. This demonstrates a COMPLETE lack of leadership! Even Jimmy Carter at least TRIED to do something. Obama won't even do that. he just goes golfing which is a slap in the face to the rest of us who are struggling.

Does this camera look good for basic photography class for high school?

yes, that is a great camera. the canon rebel 2k takes the full array of canon eos lenses including brand new lenses. it's a fully automatic camera so it advances and rewinds the film on its own. it also has fully manual capability. the only thing i don't like about this camera is that the batteries are expensive. however, if you remember to turn the camera off when you are not using it (turn the dial to L or the green square if i remember right) then they should last quite awhile.

The memory card provided with camera was a Class IV 4Gb Sandisk Ultra 15Mb/s SDHC card. I want to buy another card with larger memory..So is it better to go for a usual 8 Gb Sandisk SDHC card or 8Gb Sandisk Ultra 15Mb/s SDHC card. As the later one is coslty. Video Camera vs DSLR?

the optics and sensors in dSLR are pretty good, but for video, 3 CCD like the Tm 700 beats any single sensor system. FYI according to Canon the EOS T3i does not shoot video, so it would be a poor choice for videography.

Extended warranty issues with Best Buy. Any advice?

I bought a Canon EOS Rebel T2i camera from Best Buy. At the time of purchase they told me that I needed to buy the extended warranty because if anything happened to it they would give me a new camera. I asked what the warranty was if I didn't buy the warranty and they said it was a 1 year warranty but it would be sent out for repair in house. I purchased the camera 12-26-2010 and the extended warranty for 1 year. After 5 months an internal crack in the LCD appeared. The camera was in safe care at all times and treated very carefully. We brought the camera to Best Buy where we purchased it. They said the repair would take 10-14 days and would be free of charge. I was shocked and said I thought I would be getting a new camera instead of it having it to be repaired since I bought the preferred warranty. They then told me that it would have to be checked out first. After three weeks of the camera being repaired, we called Best Buy and asked if it was back at the store. They said that they would replace the camera and needed us to come to the store and show us what it could be replaced for. They looked for the same camera to replace it and all they had was a camera listed as a shelf display. Since no camera was available we decided to go with the T3i because the T2i was being discontinued in 2012 and will not be restocking it in there store. They said we would have to pay the difference of $100.00 of the two totals. We agreed to that, but when we got to the customer service desk the cashier said that we would have to buy ANOTHER 1-year warranty. Best Buy did not hold responsibility to their word, and somehow by replacing the camera the previous warranty would be fulfilled. I recently entered a contract to buy a house , The conditions of the contract were financing pending and house inspection , The financing did not go through and now i am being told i can be sued for repudation of contract, They have ended the contract but say i am liable for damages , My mistake was signing the contract and releasing conditions which i feel i was pushed into by the real estate agent that was representing me , I signed on good faith that she would wait until financing was approved and she didnt, She submitted the contract anyways, I know i am a dumb *** for signing the contract but this is the first house i bought and thought that my realestate agent would explain this better, I know a contract is a legally binding document , but it was pending finnancial approval

So aggravating....My spouse will say one thing and then say the complete opposite later. Ex: We were talking about getting a second home, as a vacation home, so we found one that we both agreed we liked and were talking about submitting an offer. He began telling me how "we have been talking about this for sometime now and we knew we were going to do this eventually". He was all excited and talking about what a great deal it was and didn't want to pass it up. Let's do it he says!Later we were with some friends talking about the home and he says "We are not buying a home in that area." I was shocked. I mean how could he say one thing to me and then amongst friends says the opposite. After a week passes we meet with a realtor and submit our offer.....The next evening we have a disagreement about something totally unrelated and he tells me "You pushed me into signing that offer, I told you I did not want to it". I have told him several times that if he felt uncomfortable in any way that we did not have to make an offer. Seriously, I could take it or leave it. I am just confused as to why he is constantly taking back what he says.

I went into art school majoring in photography ufortunatley the school i go has a very poor photography program so i changed my major. The lens you bought screws onto the filter treads of a lens already attached to your camera. Screw on lenses like that are complete garbage and will give you distorted images. If you want a fish eye lens, buy a real Canon lens.

My husbands lawyer submitted a motion to be removed from his case in court, when the judge asked why he begin to basically state the reason was because my husband questioned him regarding how the case was progressing. When the judge asked my husband if he objected the lawyer cut him off, begin yelling and callling him names. The judge through the lawyer out of the court room. I smoked weed yesterday, getting drug tested in 2 hrs. I kept drinking water to dilute my urine and i ate a lot so i wont burn the THC contaminated fat (or at least i hope). To hide the dilution i just taken 10 500mg vitamin B supplement so my piss will be yellow when i submit my urine. I am a HEAVY smoker,smoke like an Oz a week.
